Trio of National Experts Plus Regional Employers and Providers Slated for MBGH Annual Conference
If
you wanted to hear three high-caliber national speakers talk about the
hottest issues in employee engagement, value-based benefits and
benefit design, you’d be out of the office for a week and using a
serious chunk of your travel and training budget.
But
you can do it all in one day for one low fee (or free if you are an
MBGH member, affiliate or conference supporter), and it’s as close at
the Holiday Inn at the University of Memphis.
The lineup included:
Peter Hayes, Principal, Healthcare Solutions; Secretary, Center For Health Value Innovation;
John Moses, PhD, thought leader for behavior change and measurement with Aon Hewitt; and
Suzanne F. Delbanco, PhD., M.P.H., executive director of Catalyst for Payment Reform.
We rounded out our panel of regional employers & experts to
show how these national trends are being implemented right here in the
Memphis area!
Joining us will be:
Laurie Lee, Executive Director of Benefits Administration, State of Tennessee, will talk about the State's new ParTNers for Health benefit design. Read more about this innovative design to engage employees in their own health.
A panel of regional healthcare provider leaders, including Jim Boswell from Baptist Memorial Medical Group, George Mayzell from Health Choice, and Lacey Smith from UT Medical Group talked about why hospitals are purchasing physician practices, the
development of medical homes, and other new delivery models that will
impact the cost and quality of care your employees receive.
