Did you know that working adults comprise 65% of the population ages 16+ in the US?

Did you realize that workers spend at least 50% of their waking hours at the worksite?

Is it any surprise then, that where we work can help promote and support our health? The key word is can. Where we work won't have this positive impact if employers don't take deliberate steps to create a culture of health at the worksite by adopting policies and providing environmental and social supports to promote and support employee health.

MBGH has put together a short list of resources that can help you implement the highest impact worksite policies and programs to support employee health.

These resources align with MBGH's brief worksite health assessment, which if you have not already taken, we hope you will soon. The assessment will point out areas for focus for your business. Just match up those focus areas with the resources on our Worksite Wellness web page and you will know what to do!

Employers who complete the assessment will receive a report which will allow them to compare their current programs with other employers across Memphis. The more employers that complete the assessment, the more meaningful the results will be to our community and to the responding employers. So don't hesitate to invite your colleagues at other businesses to complete the assessment as well.
