MBGH Co-Sponsoring Chef Dana Herbert Healthy Cooking Demo

Join us on June 24, 2013, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Hope Presbyterian Church for a fun evening with Chef Dana Herbert learning that you can cook a low-carb, full-flavor dish at home! And, a healthy dinner will be served for those that attend.

Chef Dana, also known as "The Sugar Daddy", is best known for his big win on TLC's Cake Boss and as a member of the James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour.

So what's a pastry chef doing leading a cooking demo about low-carb, diabetic friendly food? Well, Chef also tours the country with Novo Nordisk educating people with Diabetes on how they can make their culinary creations delicious, nutritious, and sensible for a sugarfree diet. Chef Dana feels as though the key to living a long life starts with everything in moderation, and balance.

Chef Dana's appearance is part of Novo Nordisk's Diabetes Academy and is open to anyone in our area that is interested in learning more about diabetes and learning how to prepare low-carb meals at home!

Print out the attached flyer and post it at your worksite and send it to your employees to let them know about this fun event! There is no registration required and the event is free and open to the public.

Remember that MBGH is partnering with Novo Nordisk to bring their Diabetes Academy to your worksite. Read more about this new member benefit by clicking here. Contact Cristie Upshaw Travis at [email protected] if you are interested in finding out more.
