Catch Up on What's Happening with Health Insurance Exchanges

Wonder what's going on with Health Insurance Exchanges, especially in Tennessee?

The answer is that a lot has to happen very quickly for exchanges to be ready for open enrollment in the fall of 2013. HHS has extended the deadline for states to indicate their intention to establish a state-sponsored exchange until December 14, 2012. Plus, as you know, employers have obligations to notify their employees about exchanges and whether or not the employer-sponsored plan meets certain minimum actuarial values in March 2013!

Even after the November 6 elections, there will be questions about how exchanges will move forward.
